Make your way to downtown Birmingham’s historic Linn Park and settle in for Magic City Art Connection’s spring infusion of fresh artistic talent, sights, sounds, tastes, and aromas. MCAC’s 36th arts festival presents 200 juried artists from around the country to thousands of visitors hungry for arts, culture, entertainment, food, and fun. Be one of the art newbies, art curious, or art collecting festival goers perusing the thousands of works on display. We know you’ll find something wonderful to take home with the diversity of mediums, styles, and price points represented.

Complementing the art buying experience is the food, wine, craft beer, spirits, cocktails, and special guided tasting seminars of the 22nd Corks & Chefs: A Taste of Birmingham. Advance tickets at www.CorksandChefs.com get a stemless glass to taste your way through the 300 foot tent!

To make your day at MCAC even more unforgettable, add in live music and dance performances live on stage by local talent, art-making workshops for the kids all weekend, large scale art installations by future artists, and lingering with friends at one of the festival lounges or the Park Place Café.

Plus, this year, be sure to check out special spotlights on two Birmingham artists and a local artist collective. On the Fountain Walk, we’re spotlighting award winning John Lytle Wilson, MCAC’s 2019 Featured Artist. Amy Pleasant, who was awarded a 2018 Guggenheim Fellowship, is also being honored as the Festival’s 10th Distinguished Artist award recipient. Plus, special guest Vinegar will be joining the art mix with a special temporary art installation.
