Ready to shake off the winter doldrums? Grab your canine companions and your binoculars and head out to the Garden for Beaks and Barks. From mid-January to the end of February, your favorite four-legged friends are welcome to visit the Garden every day. Enjoy a stroll along our dedicated pet-friendly paths or a game of fetch in our no-leash zone.
If you’re a birding enthusiast, this is an excellent time of year to grab your binoculars and head outdoors. The Garden is considered a birding hotspot by the Cornell Lab of Ornithology and the National Audubon Society and its Lewis Birding Trail features a rich diversity of local and migrating birds. Mark your calendars: We’ll be participating in the Great Backyard Bird Count February 15-18, 2019 and you should too!
