Spread the love

The Von Braun Center (VBC) has certainly evolved over the decades and has seen some exciting artists, shows, and other events since it made its debut in 1975! The VBC, in addition to the arena, features multiple exhibit halls, a concert hall, a playhouse and many other facilities, for meetings and exhibits.

Rock Out at the Von Braun Center

In Huntsville, the VBC is the go-to entertainment venue. On any given night, there’s something spectacular happening at this premier multi-purpose complex. Venues inside the VBC include the Propst Arena, the Mark C. Smith Concert Hall, the Playhouse, and newly added Mars Music Hall, which all work seamlessly together to bring in a variety of entertainment options from large-scale to intimate.

Recently added is a full-service restaurant and rooftop bar – Rhythm on Monroe. Rhythm offers delicious cocktails, craft brews and freshly prepared, locally sourced urban fare. Rhythm is the perfect spot for a pre-show dinner or post-show drinks. Not attending an event?  No problem! Rhythm on Monroe is open for all guests.

Sports aficionados will find no shortage of cheering opportunities—the VBC is home to the Huntsville Havoc and UAH Chargers hockey teams, and also hosts the annual Rocket City Classic double-header featuring the University of Alabama men’s basketball team. If you’re craving entertainment that’s a bit more cultured, the VBC also hosts The Broadway Theatre League, Huntsville Symphony Orchestra and the Huntsville Ballet Company; as well as Theatre Huntsville and the Fantasy Playhouse Children’s Theater. Families will love being entertained at signature VBC events like Family Fun Festival & Expo and the Von Brewski Beer Festival!

There’s always something to do at the Von Braun Center—top-billing concerts, A-list comedians, family entertainment extravaganzas and so much more. Learn more and see all upcoming events at vonbrauncenter.com.
